This is a story of loss, pain ,betrayal and finding lasting love. I loved Eugene, Ruthie and Ronan's story. Eugene is a little slow in realizing that Ronan loves him but Ruthie, his smart daughter, knew right away. Knew what Ronan felt for her dad was far greater than anything he had had before. So far every book in this series has been amazing. We get to watch people who suffer great terrors be united with their soul mates and find a healing that changes their very lives. I cannot wait for the next book to come out to see who else finds their true mate and everlasting love. So there is a lot of evil in these books trying to take innocent souls to Hell but hey..there is a lot of evil in the world and you just need the right people to protect them and try to defeat it at all costs.So do yourself a favor and get this book!Product details

The lastest book in this series is fantastic. Ronan Macfayden is a hound who has found his mate, New York City police officer Eugene Harris. Between Eugene not trusting what he feels, since finding out his whole marriage was a lie and simply because he is so focused on protecting his daughter, Ruthie. He doesn't notice the feeling that Ronan has for him. Ronan is trying to be patient, but it takes Ruthie to show them the way to happiness.
(Ms.) Flynn delivers yet another smash hit in words. With the way the world for the Hell/Heaven Hounds, Angels and humans continues to evolve, we get a totally different view and perspective on how a set of mates become one soul in Becoming Family. Up until now, the books were about the main characters and minor interaction with children, if they were involved. Getting to see Ronan develop a relation with Eugene and Eugene's daughter, Ruthie, was interesting. Ronan went into the relationship knowing that Ruthie was Eugene's #1 priority changed how Ronan attempted to establish a relationship. A definite must read in an amazing series. I cannot wait to see where we go next.
I loved this addition to the Hounds of Hell series. First Eugene is so clueless about his personal life it's kind of funny. Plus he's trying to keep his spitfire of a daughter under control as well. Ronan has his own insecurities and fears to deal with. All of it together makes what should be the easy part so much harder.
Watching the two dance around each other as they figure out their path was so beautiful. I loved that they were constantly worrying about how things effected the family as a whole and not just the two guys apart for Eugene's daughter.
Plus we get to see more story about the angels and demons, Lucifer and God. I can't wait to see what happens next in this series. If you haven't checked it out yet, I recommend that you do!
Can you imagine being a New York City cop, who goes by the book, and suddenly your home is invaded with Angels (complete with wings) and demons (complete with red eyes) who are trying to take your daughter to hell? Then you have a huge dog following you around everywhere who is also a man? This is what Eugene had to face one morning. He found out more about his late wife than he really wanted to know. Now he has to help protect a lot of people. And adjust to the male Hell/Heaven Hound who he thinks is very sexy. Ms Eire has written another book in this series that follows the same pattern as the others; each one just keeps getting better. I’ve said that each one has been my favorite, until the next one comes out and then it's my favorite. Highly recommend this book to everyone.
Eugene Harris is a New York policeman. When an angel, a hound, and people with red glowing eyes break into his apartment he chooses the angel. What he doesn't expect is to be throw directly into a world where angels and demons are real. His late wife sold their unborn child's soul and now Eugene must adapt to a new reality to protect his daughter. Ronan Macfayden is a heavenhound. He falls for Eugene and his daughter and does his best to keep them safe.
This is another winner. The book starts off running and doesn't slow down. One difference that I noticed in this book is that we are introduced and get a feel for the human character first. The other human main characters in the series have been those who whose souls were sold to the demon. As such they are young and somewhat naive. Eugene is an adult who has been in the world as a parent and as a policeman. You get to see how Eugene is thinking and feeling and he is a very likeable character. I liked him especially because he could stand up for himself and he didn't hesitate to do so.
Ronan is also a likeable character. I loved that he just was trying to help his mate as soon as he met him and he didn't pout or get angry over small things. This book did a great job of showing us the relationship between Ronan and Eugene as it developed. I also liked that the human parent's who have sort of been in the background are now closer to the action and helping out with their children and the school.
Another great book in this series can't wait to read more hope it's soon .And hope it's as good as the others.
Another awesome book. New York cop meets his hound mate and the shenanigans begin. The story, despite introducing new characters and couples each book, is expanding and evolving. (Ariel is totally my favorite). I find myself sighing with disappointment at the end of each book because I don't want to say goodbye to the characters who I feel I know.
